And the Wohlers-Allee – number 58 housed the Jewish religious kindergarten; there we sang the short morning prayers, thanking God for having returned our souls to us after a long sleep and Moses for having given us and all of Israel the Torah. And then we played “Ring a Ring o’ Roses” in a circle, and all the children held hands and tumbled together on the floor, squealing cheerfully.
