DE EN RU HE

Let’s start!

Matzot are produced from water and flour only

The flour must be sifted vigorously – a real man’s job

Women at the “kitchen stove” – as usual

Matzah Machines for very thin and breakable Matzot

Rolling machine No. 2 – the dough slowly glides down

Rolling machine No. 1 is at the same time a kneading machine

Rolling machine No. 3 – the dough lies smoothly on the board

Rolling machine No. 4 – the dough is getting “punched with holes”

Final Act

Finally the matzot are carefully counted and checked: Are all the matzot flat and round? Or are there any edges stuck together? In that case the matzot are not kosher

The round cut-out matzot are on their way to the preheated oven – but only for one minute.

The round matzot are packed into one pound parcels – of course, this again is a woman’s job.
