I remember the sight of these places:

The Stuhlmann Fountain with its figures spurting water, the huge green fish and the rearing stallion with horseshoes on its hoofs.

The Donners Park, with the mysterious castle, surrounded by the lawn and the trees in all shades of green.

The Altona Museum, where it smell like tar even without it, and where the many exhibited boats and sailors’ clothing were reminiscent of the ridiculous fisherman from the tale “The Fisherman and his Wife”, who kept saying: “My wife, Isebill, does not do things at my will.”
