A Special Thank You

The project “Highlights on former Jewish Hamburg” could only be realized thanks to a generous donation received by the Hamburg couple:

Professor Dr.h.c. Hannelore Greve –
Honorary Senator of the Hamburg University

Professor Dr. Helmut Greve –
Honorary Senator of the Hamburg University

“Highlights” presents an exhibition which everybody can visit – step by step or according to any personal choice.

We wish to thank Mr. Dan Allina, who was in charge of the Internet at Bar Ilan University and who supported the project in word and deed in all its initial stages.

The word “exhibition” indicates that we are talking about a large number of pictures. We wish to mention the names of people and institutes who generously assisted us in obtaining a great part of the visual material.

However, writing the names below or beside each picture would create more confusion than a clear overview. Therefore a list is added with the names of the people, who put material – relevant to each “Highlight” – to our disposal.

In case you would like to know the source of a certain picture or to use one or more photos for any other purpose, please proceed as follows (in order not to violate any copyrights):

  • Please write in which one of the “Highlights” the picture appears;
  • Add the caption below the picture;
  • Send a request to the author of the series:
